Greetings! A big welcome to my humble abode on the World Wide Web. The title of this blog is taken from the book The Pilgrim’s Progress: from this World to that Which is to Come, penned by the 17th century Puritan preacher John Bunyan from his prison cell during persecution. It has never been out of print since its first publication in Part 1. As briefly noted before, The Pilgrim's Progress, Part I, was conceived and largely written by Bunyan while he was lying in prison, and he tells us the was working hard to finish another book when he conceived the idea of writing a story about the adventures that a devout Christian might meet in trying to save his soul by setting out on a pilgrimage to Heaven.
